If you haven't hit the final button to submit, you can go back in and edit it.
I'm really not sure what to tell you; the system seemed hit and miss to me. I had one copy and paste look like code. I deleted it and re-copied and pasted. It finally worked. I suggest copying and pasting and then saving (at the bottom). If it gets messed up at that stage, re-copy and paste it and try saving again until it looks right. Sorry, I wish I could be more help. I don't know how mine managed to come out ok. I'm a bit tense about posting too. I haven't gotten gotten that far yet.

I went downstairs and it worked...
Mine's called 'The Future Meets the Past' if you get a chance to look at it. Took me 3 hrs to write, and then I had to cut down due to those pesky space issues between word and the KVP site.

I think I have one, 2 star, the rest 3 and 4 stars...compared to the last round...I'm much happier with the result.

This round, the admins made it possible for everyone to see those ratings without comments. It brought those secret snipers out into the light. I haven't seen any of that this round. I also got one two star rating, probably from the same person.
I still cannot make sense of that submission process. My first entry uploaded with no problem. My second took me forever. The same method didn't work the second time for me and no matter what I did, the last few lines got meshed together. In my frustration, I had to clip a scene out (although the character count was no different than the first submission--mystery to me.) I also had a couple of careless word errors in the second one, a sign of my frustration from having to snip to get it to fit through that "beastie."
Both of mine are different scenarios, not revisions. One explores K and P NOT working together, while the other has them collaborate.

In my fustration to 'get the space count down' I cut lines and stuff and even in my final revsion, I have a few 'your' instead of 'you're' made me mad...

I actually got a 3rd submission in. No matter WHAT I did, the same section of dialog meshed together. With less than three minutes to the deadline I posted it anyway. The content addressed the only area reviews said was weak. Judge for yourself. Ad Infinitum |
