Does anyone have any good chocolate chip cookies recipes that they would like to share? The reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking about making some in the next week or so.

This is one of my favorite recipes
chocolate chip cookies
• 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour • 1 teaspoon baking soda • 1 teaspoon salt • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened • 3/4 cup granulated sugar • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract • 2 large eggs • 2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) chocolate chips (nestle toll house work the best but you can substitute) • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
PREHEAT oven to 375° F.
COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Set aside
Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

Toll House Cheesecake
(This recipe makes a very rich chocolate-chip-like cookie square. And since you use pre-packaged dough, it's kind of like cheating.)
2 pkgs chilled cookie dough 2 oz cream cheese 2 Tblsp sugar 1 egg 2 cups chocolate chips
Slice one roll of cookie dough and line bottom of a 13x9 inch baking dish. Cut slices 1/4" thick. Cream or beat egg, cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add chocolate chips and stir. Pour over first layer of cookie dough. Slice the second roll and place on top. Bake at 350 for 30min. Let cool and cut like brownies.
