Loved this movie! The only thing I would have added is more Bones.

Yeah, I like Bones. Heh, "I'm a doctor, damn it, not a physicist!"

Thanks for that, Jean! I really enjoyed waiting for it!
Also: I absolutely LOVED Scotty's reaction to the new ship...like a man with a crush!
And Spock: "Fascinating" I swear it wasn't his voice, but a recording from the original show!
(We FINALLY got out tonite to see it! I blame the nephew!)

I'm a scifi nut but wasn't really a trekkie. But I knew enough about the original show to totally enjoy how dead-on they made the younger characters. Soo can't wait and I hope they make more with the same cast.

I fainaly got to see it on the 4th, It was amazing. The casting was really good, only Chekov didn't look like Chekov, that bugged me 'cause he was one of my faves from the original *crys* But for the most part everyone else looked good. I also have to agree with jeantre16 as far as Uhura and Spock are concerned...their relationship was far too open for Spock's personality, not to mention there wasn't the slightest indication of anything of that sort in the show, but I guess they wanted some sort of romance, if only to satisfy the saps. I did however like the interaction between Spock and Kirk, and how it took Spock-Prime's guidance to reconcile them (Lenord Nemoy did a Fantastic job, now if only they could have gotten some voice clips from Shatner... ) It was also interesting to see the scene between Spock and Spock-Prime...."Though as my customary farewell bidding would seem self-serving I will simply say Good Luck." I loved that line...
