Wanted to go see this, but wound up seeing Sherlock Holmes instead. Avatar was sold out! It must be good ...
Wondering though, when I see it, should I go to the IMAX? 3D? Or regular version? LOL So many choices and the theater here has it showing in all three versions.

I have a gift card to the theater...been trying to decide what to see. My son, of course, wants to see the Chipmunks, but that's out! MY gift card! I am leaning toward Avatar...in 3d. It has been recommended, highly. I have no idea what it's about, though.

Basically a new planet and we the evil humans have come to take control and use the resources and force this race to move their home.... They take human and the alien dna and combine it to create a hybrid alien that looks like them and these machines to sorta put the 'host' to sleep so they can tranfer their consciousness to the hybrid and control movement. to learn about the aliens. That about the best I can do w/ out giving anything away....
kidna of Dances with Wolves meets Star Trek.
