Hi everyone!
It seems that this place isn't all that busy any more but I just thought I'd introduce myself anyway! I'm panda and I'm from the UK. I'm a new fan of Young Blades, I only got into it completely by chance by stumbling upon it on Youtube (I'm not sure it's ever been on tv over here, though I could be wrong!) and judging from some of the online comments I'm not the only one - the actor Robert Sheehan has been getting increasingly famous over here recently and I think it's stirred up a little bit of UK interest in the show.
So anyway, message me if you feel like a chat - about Young Blades, or anything really! Take care! ;D

Hi Jean! (if I may call you that!) Nice to meet you, and thanks for the welcome! ;D I've been having lots of fun browsing the forum, and I don't think I've even got through a quarter of it yet! There's an awful lot here! Well..Robbie's done quite a few of things on British tv recently, but I became familiar with him through the tv series "Misfits" which has become pretty popular over here (Robbie is the main character...I saw him being interviewed on tv the other week and he says he gets recognised a lot and shouted at in the street now, LOL!) I'll post a topic about the show soon, nice to keep everyone updated!

Hello, I just joined. I used to watch the young blades back when it was on in 2007 I think. Does anyone know why it was canceled. Or where the 13 episodes can be obtained. With Roman's rhapsodies at the end. That is the best part I thinks.

Very difficult to find any copies. The company that made the show has sold the rights to SONY, and they don't care enough about this tiny show that didn't get very far, to even answer emails about it. Canceled? Because it was made by a small company, and distributed to small networks, and didn't make enough money, is my educated guess. Don't know where you are, but in the US, it was only aired on PAX, which is jokingly referred to as the "All Christian programming, all infomercial station", as they don't do much else. Yup. Rhapsodies were great. But, if you didn't buy it from Insight before they sold it, you're probably out of luck. There are some copies of the shorter, US version pirated online, (no rhapsodies) but they aren't truly legal.

Hi, tchatrath, Welcome to the Young Blades and Beyond forum. At present, your best option in obtaining a copy of the show DVDs would be to find someone willing to sell them. The former rights owner did release a few by request, but as Sue mentioned, Sony now owns those rights. Check ebay or Amazon. But really, I'm not sure how many people bought them and if they're willing to part with them. Aside from the DVDs there are many fan stories that survived here on YB&B and fanfiction.net. Even some of the shows were transcribed here as well as several virtual episodes written collectively by fans. I hope this gives you a new way to satisfy your passion for this show. I truly miss it too. :-( JeanTre16 YBB Moderator btw, all networks were hit hard that year - Christian, infomercial or other - and that's no joke.
