IMDB summary:
A 14th century Crusader returns to a homeland devastated by the Black Plague. A beleaguered church, deeming sorcery the culprit of the plague, commands the two knights to transport an accused witch to a remote abbey, where monks will perform a ritual in hopes of ending the pestilence. A priest, a grieving knight, a disgraced itinerant and a headstrong youth who can only dream of becoming a knight join a mission troubled by mythically hostile wilderness and fierce contention over the fate of the girl. When the embattled party arrives at the abbey, a horrific discovery jeopardises the knight's pledge to ensure the girl fair treatment, and pits them against an inexplicably powerful and destructive force. What I'm wondering is if this is a fantasy (as in witchy powers, etc.) or if it's a historical witch hunt tale where people chase after ghosts that aren't there.

Yay, I can't wait to see this movie! And jean, from the trailer I'd say it looks like it has a supernatural theme, but trailers can always be misleading: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLoKm_vUsFYAlso, I found a couple of pics from the premiere last night:

Robbie's looking really good. How tall would you say he is? From the pictures he looks taller than all the others, but how tall is that?

Yes, Robbie is really tall now! I did a google search and apparently he's 6' but I suspect that info might be a bit out of date as he looks taller than that to me. ..I just checked, and both Nic Cage and Ron Perlman are allegedly 6'1''. And Robbie looks at least as tall as them, if not a bit taller. If I ever meet him, I'll demand to measure him in person!

He did something with Rupert Grint, last year, and Rupert is, like, over six foot...And Robbie is taller...he's a long drink of water! Every time I see him, I think about the episode with Charles Shaughnessy, where he comments about his height...that was, what? six years ago?
I just saw the trailer for the first time...looks dark and frightening.

It might just be the trailer.
You wouldn't do Harry Potter? The trailers are always pretty dark and scary looking!
No, this looks interesting...I saw something today where Nick Cage was saying it had been interesting to do...that he thinks superstition has its place...something like that.

I shall watch between my fingers then. I'm hoping someone will post back here after they've seen the movie.
I confess: I am not an HP fan. Not my thing.
YB had it's supernatural. I think YB balanced it well.
