I was just thinking about how odd it is that I'm not watching a show based in my FAVORITE state. But no, I don't know what it was about the show that I lost interest in. I think it was the characters. But Sue, you've watched it longer than I have and you thought the characters developed well.

I did get a little confused when they filmed one spot on the island and suddenly popped over to another spot. If someone had never been there it wouldn't be noticed, but I kept thinking, "Hey, that's not where they were."

Gabrielle, what makes you say you're bored with the show? Just wondering.

I love the banter between McGarrett and Danno. I don't recall the original show, but this is one that my hubby and I watch together, and if I miss something, he gets it, and I make him rewind. (he is so techno-illiterate that he doesn't even like to rewind the tivo!)

I guess I'm usually about the character development...a show that doesn't have good characters, I get bored with...this one has some really good bits.

One thing I noticed this week...the actress who plays McGarrett's sister...did a show with Nathan Fillion a couple of years back...which I just watched. I had never seen her before, didn't even recognize her from her previous episodes, but recognized her from this road race show. Another one that Fox cancelled way too soon, and there was no conclusion...
