Anyone else watching Terra Nova? I wound up recording the shows and finally got around to watching them. The sad thing is that now I have to wait for the rest of the season to air, one episode a week, instead of watching my recordings back to back. Sadly, t's not even on this week because of the World Series. Wah! I guess that's a sign I like the show.

I really like this show. The season finale aired this past Monday. Love the new twists. I really hope they renew this show for next year...though something tells me they may not. Had producers been 100% sure of renewal, they would have left more of a cliffhanger at the end. As it is, there is a good future storyline, but they left all the main characters intact and together. Had I been in the mood, I could have written fan fiction on this one.

Terra Nova has been cancelled. I kind of thought it would be ratings weren't that great and it must have cost a lot of money to make. Really hoping it ends up on Netflix so I can rewatch it in the future.

Nooo! I really liked this show. I don't get that Falling Skies is getting all the rave. It's lame compared to Terra Nova. Sorry, just disappointed.

Fox, apparently, has a reputation for picking up new shows that appeal less to the best demographics, that are really great, but don't appeal to the young women who spend all the money...then cancelling them, because they aren't attracting that demographic. Funny...does this fit the profile? I haven't watched it.

I'm not sure what "young women who spend all the money" are supposedly watching and why their moneyspending makes or breaks a show???

The demographic (according to something I recently read) of I think it's 13 - 30 year old women are the ones who do the shopping, and who are NOT as tied to their brands...men shop: They go to the store, they pick up their brand of product, in their size. They don't waste any time with it. Women shop: They compare prices, quantities, values, brand name and what that means. They are swayable by commercials. If they aren't watching the shows, they aren't buying the products, and the advertisers go elsewhere. That's the theory. Look at what survives on Fox...and what gets canned in 13 weeks.

Didn't they run jeep ads after a dino munch scene? lol Or did they miss that op? Maybe a paper towel ad after a gory scene would have marketed better. Hey, maybe advertisers just needed smarter people behind their campaign!

Well, that goes without saying!
Few young women buy jeeps....
I wouldn't know...I never got around to watching the show.
