Runaway Veggie In watching "Davinci's Notebook" I noticed that when Mireille's father is pushing his vegetable cart down the street (before he is abducted by Mazarin's men) a red leaf cabbage rolls off his cart unnoticed by him and takes off into a couple of oncoming people. I thought that was funny because he was saying, "Anyone want to buy vegetables?" For a man trying to make a living selling his veggies, he doesn't take much interest in his own goods! AND no one stopped to pick it up for him.

I wasn't quite sure what catogory to put this, but, I found a websitehttp://www.magentatoolbox.com/web_young_blades.htm That has cool character desktops. I choose the Siroc one.

Well, I somehow doubt that desktops goes under "Bloopers" ...so to bring this back on topic: I remember there was a blooper in the episode where d'Artagnan's father arrived. When they were walking down the street, d'Artagnan's hair was tied back. In the next shot, his hair is down. Also, a sort of blooper: IN Da Vinci's notebook, when Siroc is looking at Mirelle and her father, I noticed a stain on his coffee cup that looked a little like lipstick...guess our favorite inventor picked up someone else's cup?

I find it strange - because for one I'm in the middle of Da Vinci and happened to be watching it when I read the post. I didn't see lipstick on the cup...hmmm. Perhaps the zoom function is in order.

FICKLE HAIRSTYLEWatching "Wanted" last night, I noticed that when d'Artagnan watches Jacques leave the garrison, he has his hair down. But, when the three 'boys' are riding their horses in the woods after her/him, D has his hair back in a queue. Then, when the boys sneak up behind Jacques (spying on Mazarin) he has his hair down again. Sometimes I am fickle with my hair back and not, but I think in this case it was an oversight and therefore a blooper.

Easy Rescue
I was recently watching "The Exile" on DVD, and noticed that in the scene where Jacqueline and Charles Stuart rescue D'Artagnan from the Bastille, his hands are not actually locked into the shackles, as they were in the earlier scene when Mazarin was interrogating him. Rather, he was just holding onto the chains while Jacqueline 'unlocked' the shackles.

Has anyone noticed in the first episode when D and J are fighting there fight that the whole wall goes forward when they are going outside. That isn't a wall. That's the door. In Europe, in many older buildings, there are double doors, the smaller one is for ordinary use, for people to come and go in and out of the building, and the larger "wall" is also on hinges, for use when a horse and carriage or something very large needs to come and go through the entrance. Mostly they are used in garage type situations.

I rewatched Da Vinci's Notebook recently. In the scene where Jacques is in her room putting the binding on before the mirror, and Ramon and d'Artagnan are outside her door, if you look closely, they goofed on her clothing. Check it out.
She's putting binding on.
Ramon and d'Artagnan are outside her door.
Camera switches to her again before the mirror and she's wearing her white shirt WITH the blue VEST over it.
Back out in the hall when she comes out her door, she's wearing her jacket, with NO VEST underneath it and her white shirt. That's why D gives her a strange look like, "Uh, forgot something?" LOL she took her vest off, after already having it on, apparently.

man, I have been trying to figure out what she had forgotten! I always wondered what that was!
Except it's The Exile...we're watching it right now.

I love bloopers! I also noticed D'Art and his hair in that episode...
seems like in one episode... the one with his father? I saw one shot of Charles going one way and then the camera focuses in on D'Art jr. and his father comes up...and I was like, wait...wern't you just going the other way? Blooper prehaps?
