This will tell you how to upload your avatars to a free image hosting site like Photobucket or Imageshack and then how to add your avatars to your profile here on YBB. For this how to I'm going to be using Imageshack. (click on thumbnails to see full verisons)
When you go to Imageshack. You will see this.
^Make sure you have upload image chosen and hit browse.
^Next you pick the avatar (image) you would like to upload. Then click open.
^Up where it says browse you will see the file you picked. Next you click the button at the bottom that says Host It.
^Next a whole bunch of links will show up. The link you want is the bottom one that says direct link to image. Very important to remember that if you don't sign up for Imageshack and upload this way you will need to keep track of your links if you want to use them in the future. But if you don't its no big deal you can always reupload your image.
^Next your going to hit profile at the top of the YBB board.
^Now click on modify profile.
^Next you will go down until you see avatar url and avatar height and width. You will add in your url you got from Imageshack at the avatar url box. Next make sure avatar height and width boxes have 100 in each. Which will give your avatar the max size for YBB 100x100.
^Then make sure you hit the button at the bottom of your profile called modify profile. This will save the changes you have made and you are done.
