Until recentley (this morning) I thought the bookmark feature on the board was like your bookmarks on your internet browser. It turns out it does something else as well you can turn on email or pm notifications for that thread as well. Here's how to do that. (Click on the thumbnails to see the full verisons.)
^ Say you come across a thread that you would like to keep track of.
^Go up to where it says bookmark and click on that.
^After you have done that go up to where it says profile and click on that.
^Once your profile pops up click where it says bookmark.
^Then a list of your bookmarked threads will pop up. Next If you would like to set a notifications for your bookmarked threads click on Manage bookmarks.
^This box will pop up next.
^You will see a list of the threads you have bookmarked listed in the subject column. If you wish to be notified when a new post has been made in a certain thread find it in the list. Click the box before the thread and then pick what kind of notification you would like for it.
^ You can also set a default setting for whenever you bookmark a thread so you don't have to do step 7 everytime you bookmark something. All you have to do is change the notification to which ever you would prefer. If later you change your mind it can always be changed back.
^ Then click on update bookmarks and preferences. This will save all the changes you have made. Once you have done that you are done.
