I was wondering what is everyone's all time favorite movies based on The Three Musketeers, King Aruther, Camelot, and any other movie that was made based on a book?

I guess mine counts... because it was a book... a fairy tale, but still a book... My all time favorite movie is "The Slipper and the Rose". It is the story of Cinderella told in a musical. It stars a young Richard Chamberlain as the prince. I have loved this movie since I was 6 years old and it will always be my favorite. I have a crappy copy I recorded off of television about 20 years ago, I have an official VHS copy, and the DVD when it was released a few years ago. Oh and I also own the soundtrack. Yes, just a little obsessed. Someone on youtube has the movie in 16 parts loaded on their page (here). Obviously you start with part one if you are so inclined to watch it.

Of all the Arthurian movies I've watched, I must admit that my favorite King Arthur movie is still The Sword in the Stone. I saw it for the first time right after I'd read the book as a small kid, and it has a firm place in my heart ever since.

Just saw Disney's Three Musketeers with Mickey Mouse, et al. I must say, I don't recall seeing it before. I think I would have remembered it. I laughed my head off. Very witty. One of my favorite parts was Goofy and Clarabell on the bridge. The lyrics in his love song to her cracked me up. And then, of course, she sings opera and shatters the moon. Right after that, the "chicken," fleeing Donald rows by under them and says, "I'll be a Musketeer when I see cows fall from the sky." Then the falling Clarabell and Goofy land on him. The Pirates of Penzance singing every time Captain Pete mentioned the opera was also funny. The turtle's song about love was classic. "Love, love, love, love, love. The thing you can say about love is that love is ... love." (or something close to that) LOL Sorry, I'm getting carried away. Humor is so funny though and this was a good satire! I couldn't help seeing our three male Young Blades stars: Mickey = D'Artagnan Goofy = Ramon Siroc = Donald (Well, almost?)
