~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Plot summary for Captive Hearts (2005) (TV) A newly hired executive for a multinational corporation, Larry Sorenson (Tobias Mehler) is kidnapped at gunpoint. The hostage takers send video demands directly to Larry's wife, Elizabeth (Tracey Gold) demanding the multinational halt all financial dealings with Europe. If their demands are not met in 12 hours, Larry will be executed and other executives and stockholders will follow. This sends the company's stock into a free-fall. Seattle PD Detective, Jimmy Kelsoe (Chris Kramer) has his suspicions. It's all too neat. Working closely with FBI Agent Jade Marlo (Robin Givens) the two soon discover that the whole kidnapping is an elaborate plot to manipulate stock prices for a mafia takeover. As the pieces of the puzzle fall into place, Detective Kelsoe and Elizabeth join forces. But Elizabeth soon realizes she has far more in common with Detective Kelsoe than with her missing husband Larry. Kelsoe too, realizes his feelings toward Elizabeth have grown beyond professional. With time running out, both Kelsoe and Elizabeth must struggle to put their feelings for each other aside in order to save Larry's life. Written by Lindsay James
I think I remember seeing screencaps for this somewhere. Someone commented what a shame it was that such a handsome face was covered up by a huge piece of duct tape.
When are they gonna air this on LIFETIME? I don't get LMN, and I had to watch it with a friend at her house...she spent the WHOLE time complaining about what a lousy actress Tracey Gold is. (okay...I might have to go with her on that one, but...NOT why I wanted to see it!) @jean...the screencaps are on Toby's fan site. Not many, but a couple, if I remember correctly.
Right now I don't have ANY TV. *gulp* Not until the move is over. So glad for reruns!
Have to check out the caps on his site. Thanks, Sue!
Oh, and if you want to see something that was REALLY unflattering, try finding the Poltergeist, the Legacy episode that he did. *shudder!* The end was...not pretty!
(I should emphasize "try". as the only way I could find it was dubbed into Spanish)
Oy, Spanish. That won't happen. And Poltergeist is not on my wanna-see list. I'd much rather remember Tobias from YB, the Christmas movies, etc. In perspective, I have pictures of me I'd rather not look at either. lol
It's actually not a bad dubbing job...almost sounds like his voice...which is unusual, since the men who usually dub in Spanish have these deep, DJ-type voices.
