Do you have a favorite genre of book to read? Or do you find yourself choosing different books for different moods and seasons?

For instance, I like adventure, but right now, a good book of encouraging poems sounds inviting.

Don't worry you're not alone in your suffering I once (partially still do) had a fascination with romance novels, but now I'm just addicted to romantic fan fiction and it's killing me because it clashes with my personalty. *goes and crawls in a hole*

Mostly non-fiction... I like wolf stories, stories about animals, most fantasy novels (like The Dark is Rising, LOTR and the Deltora Quest series). Um. Adventure and mystery stuff too... Sci-fi is like, alien stuff, right? Not really my scene... but if it's interesting, I'll usually give it a go.

Though nowadays, being unable to visit the bookstore, I've been reading fanfiction online more than actual books. Some authors online are easily as good as published authors... some, but not all.
