I just found a series by Sarah d'Almeda i read the first one and it was very good so i had to share with the rest of you .... they are... da dun da... musketeer mysteries!
the first book is "Death of a musketeer" and book two is "Musketeer's seamstress"
they are adventures of the original 4 ledgends and the first book begins with d'artagnans duel with Athos. the character discriptions threw me off as Arimis is blond, Porthos is a red head and Athos has dark hair...and she also didn't go with using their historical first names even so, the plot and imagery were great i definately suggest giving this series a try
