This thread is for discussion on your favorite authors. What's new, book-signings, appearances, etc. Oh, and yes, some of the best authors are "dead" ladies and gents. You can write about those here too!

Tonight I'm going to an author dinner for Davis Bunn. He is an author of historical and suspense fiction, and has written over 40 books. His better known works include: Heartland, The Great Divide, Imposter, Exlir, and The Quilt.

The author dinner is an anual event in town that I somehow missed last year. While I can't say for sure that Davis Bunn is my favorite author, yet, I'm looking forward to seeing his books tonight and hearing what he has to say.

I'll let you know how it turns out!

I Know one of my favorite authors is Brian Jacques, he's the author of the Redwall series and the Castaways of the Flying Dutchman series.
