The rules for the game are simple (I hope).
One person writes a poetry line, A second person writes a line with the same end rhyme (finishing the couplet). The next post will continue the poem, but have a new end rhyme for the next poster to follow up on.
Example:
Post 1: It came upon a midnight clear Post 2: A tall, handsome Spanish Musketeer Finish of first couplet Post 3: Began to sprout poetry at the Café Nouveau Post 4: Much to the dismay of friends, and though Finish of another couplet Post 5: His verse was tight, his rhyme was pretty Post 6: D’Artagnan, Jacques, Siroc had no appreciation for his ditty Another couplet Post 7: So come all you fans, show your support for Ramon Post 8: Join in at Rhapsody Night on Young Blades & Beyond! Next post begins with new end rhyme… simple, let’s see.
To play, copy and paste what has gone before and add your line. If you have a difficult time finding a word to rhyme with, check out RhymeZone.com.
I’ll start! Here’s your first line to rhyme with:
Ramon Montalvo Francisco de la Cruz
