I just read that he originally tried out for the roll of D'artagan in youngblades and got the role of Charles II instead.
After graduating from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City he performed in a National Tour of "The Three Musketeers"
his favorite musketeer is Athos bacause of his nobility and his chance to be a mentor to d’Artagnan and of course the ability to kick everyone’s butt.
His nick name is 'monkey' because he was playing a baron Ontario Rennaissance Festival and didn’t know how to move with the line. He started walking and looked like a monkey with arms flailing. The director said, “He is not an evil monkey Baron" and it stuck.
