OMG!
Heath was awesome!
The Joker was EVIL!!!!!!
But there was plenty of disturbing images and violance... not a movie for the under 13 crowd...

Nah, you've given me all I need to nix my son's request. I don't actually have money to take him to the theater right now, anyway, and the movie will surely have moved on before I'm feeling a bit more comfortable. We'll just stay home and watch my Young Blades dvds!

Was anyone else shocked that Batman let Racheal die in order to save Harvey, who went bad anyways? *ironic wasn't it?*

He didn't *let* her die. Joker pulled a fast one and switched the locations. Batman thought he was saving Rachel, only to find Harvey where Joker told him she would be, and Gordon reached the place where Harvey was supposed to have been only to have it blow up before he could get inside to save whoever was in there. It took me a minute to figure out what happened, I confess, but that's just the sort of thing I would expect Joker to do, since he thrives on chaos.

This is by far one of the best movies I have seen in my entire life. I will say however, that I cannot compare this to the original Batman movie. You just can't. They are two completely different actors, who pulled out two completely different heros and villains. In my book, Heath Ledger did a phenomonal job as the Joker. I was actually empathizing with his mentality of human life. The world can truly be an ugly place. Too bad we don't have a real Batman. Did anyone else notice when Bruce received his new armor that Morgan Freeman said "it doesn well against cats as too." I was thinking "oh my!" catwoman possibly for the next one!?" |

I missed that...but heard the rumor of possibly catwomen... racheal Dawes as catwomen,,,THAT would be interesting... don't ya think?
