How many people have told her she's hot for him? I mean...Esposito, the gal from the restaurant, Dana Delany, Lanie...seriously? You think she's not catching on, yet?

Saw the haunted house ep again. Castle's word for that ep was when Kate said "Not one more use of the word ghosts." Castle fumbles with it, then being the writer he is says, "Apparition-American." lol

Okay...this week. The segment where they are talking to the "sexecutive" (Castle hides a smirk) brought back the whole...sexpionage thing...I thought he was just itching to use that...and she kept stealing these tiny amused looks at him during that part. I don't think she has ever allowed him to just run with an interview that much, before!
And then there was the obviousness that he's used such services, before.

Come to think of it, I noticed that too. She's not playing "I'm the cop and you're not" attitude as much. They really are like partners. But all the talk of her having to decide if she subpoenaed the coat from the Mayor, Castle would be gone, brought the issue up again that he's not on solid ground there.
I'm glad the Mayor proved good. I liked him. But the episode gives more light on those behind the scenes calling the shots, deciding who gets to run for higher offices. Wow, in our day of politics I almost believe such a scandal. lol

She has referred to him as a partner a couple of times, too...I think part of the change has to do with the last time they made a bet, and he said, if he lost, he would go away, forever, and she said if he won, she would let him be her partner, for real...then she threw it, and didn't mention that she had already figured out who the guilty party was....Espo knew. He asked how long she had known before Castle figured it out. She just sort of shrugged and smiled, if I remember. But all the talk of her having to decide if she subpoenaed the coat from the Mayor, Castle would be gone, brought the issue up again that he's not on solid ground there. The way they both reacted when Gates called her into the office at the beginning...the uncertain look on his face...yeah. He knew she was out to get him. I'm glad the Mayor proved good. I liked him. But the episode gives more light on those behind the scenes calling the shots, deciding who gets to run for higher offices. Wow, in our day of politics I almost believe such a scandal. lol As I watch the results of the latest primaries, I'm thinking...too bad they ruined his run at the presidency. He'd have been a ton better than anything out there right now....

Ah, yes, I remember that "partner" deal now. I agree about the politics thing. So strange. I'm not sure I like the way today's candidates parade around like the election is a popularity contest in high school, while there are so many serious issues in Congress and in the House that aren't getting resolved.

Oh, and what about Espo and Kay? I want him and Lannie (sp) to work it out. I was surprised to see them still arguing at the crime scene after the wedding conversation.

Politics is a complete mess! One of my favorite quotes of all time is Churchill's comment about Democracy being a terrible form of government...but the best one we have. You should see what it's like in other countries...have you ever paid attention to democracies that have to have a coalition to decide who's the leader? Yikes!!! Will comment later on the episode...I have to watch again...I was busy trying to get my son to bed, and didn't really watch. And for some reason, the tivo didn't tape anything last night...must be full. You'd think 80 hours would be enough.

Okay...so...that golden was just about the cutest thing I have seen on the show...including Nathan! And did you see how he made Beckett smile! I don't think I've ever seen her so in love!
The transfer/shared custody scene was hysterical! Take them ten years into the future, assume they couldn't make a go of it, and have to trade time with the kid...and Castle would be the one, always late, always playing..."Okay, FINE! YOU be the fun one, and I'll have to be the bad guy....That dog isn't going to shed on MY furniture!" (then, of course, the minute the door closed behind him...she tells the dog it's okay.
The whole thing about Espo and the crush was adorable! And there was Beckett, rolling her eyes, and trying not to smile, just like she always does with Castle's jokes.
Oh! And...that was a pretty thin disguise of the Kardashians...really! (Except she really IS attractive!)
The vicious chihuahua was good...note how terrified Castle looked as it attacked him.
And Buttons Dutton? OMG!
You know, either of them adopting the dog would have given the other the perfect excuse to visit when not working...and, how much do you think Castle's going to show up, looking "like a lost puppy", once Alexis is off at college? Even if she stays home and goes to Columbia, she'll have a whole different, more mature social life, leaving him to rattle around the house, with no one to take care of. I wonder what they will do with that next year.

I can't believe how well you recapped all of that. lol You said pretty much everything I thought, but evidently was too brain dead to write. haha
Yes, I can really see the two of them doing the dog thing together, and I did think of Alexis going off to school. And what was that rubbing her hand thing? Hmm. Bits 'n pieces, trinkets for the fans.

Actually, I was thinking the custody thing...human kids. You KNOW he'd be the cool, fun parent, and she'd wind up being the "bad guy".
Brain dead? I waited until I wasn't anymore. Mind you, I had to watch it twice through, again, since I didn't even get to watch it the first time.

Fun stuff. My favorite is, "I'm just saying, whoever killed her murdered the English language." A writer has to love that one!

I like that one, too...went through all thirty pages of merchandise, lmfao the whole time. My son came home and just gave me that look... Any idea which episode the line about Kitten was from? I don't remember that....There SHOULD (but isn't) be something with "If you call me your muse, I'll break your legs."
