I can vouch for Choices and Truth & Consequences (although I have yet to read Baker's Dozen). Admittedly, I'm neither a cross-over fan or a J/S shipper, but both tpal and zankoku can make you forget your preferences (or at least lay out a convincing argument) as soon as you step into their world. Especially if you like to explore alternate universes in your fanfiction.
I tip my hat to the J/S-ers out there. By golly, you've got some gifted wordsmiths to back you up.

I must stay true to the J/D pairing, but I must admit that I do love writing J/S to break the monotony. I will give these a read tomorrow ^^ Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the compliment :blushes: Just so you know, I don't really consider my stories (save for Secrets Revealed, which is yb/highlander) to be crossovers. Actually, Zankoku and I kinda borrowed a page from Vigilanti's playbook and worked in some 'cameos' (i.e. characters inspired by those in other series--some more closely than others--but who are completely integrated into the world of our story). Most of them are on the obscure side. It was just having some fun with the story...playing our own little game of 'see who can spot the cameo.' And believe it or not, most of them just slipped right by, unnoticed. The only one anyone claimed to spot was a character Z came up with, who I didn't even realize was borrowed from elsewhere until V mentioned it in the review. Those were mainly in T&C, though. Not so much in Baker's Dozen. A couple from T&C might show up in a later part, but at the moment it's primarily the main group and some OCs, most of them being the children of our heroes (since the last story takes place about 20 years after T&C ends). So go ahead and give it a shot, Daring...you might like it ;D

No, you didn't kill the thread. I think I've read the same two stories...And, though I think it's going off in the wrong direction, entirely, to put Siroc and Jacqueline together...I enjoyed the stories.

I've been J/S from the start! Yay! Keep those stories up till my exams end! I'll go on a marathon fic-reading thingy Dec 5th onwards! Keep this thread around too - then I'll know where to find them links!
Yee-haw! *does a happy dance*
I'm telling you guys, the show shoulda gone J/S. If only there'd been a season 2!
As for crossovers - usually if it's good and features shows I know, then I don't mind them, and especially if they're well-written. Take for example the crossing of Pokemon/YB that I tried to get going. I have more planned for it, but little time to write. I'd originally wanted to do each and every episode... oh, well.
And anyway, if you think about it, most fanfiction is AU, really, since it can't be considered canon, not even missing scenes.

Don't worry...the stories aren't going anywhere. I have no intention of ever taking them down. Hope you enjoy them when you get a chance to read.

Out of curiousity, if I may ask, why J/S? What's clicking for you? Is it because you're Mark Hildrith fans or just because you like the Siroc character more, or is there something you see working between these two characters that I'm obviously missing out on. Just wanna know your input.

Honestly, I find non-canon 'ships more interesting than canon (I'm a big Grisham/Tessa fan over in the Queen of Swords fandom), and there were some moments in the series that could be interpreted as suggesting at least a closeness between the pair (romantic or no)...like in episode 5 when he asks her to pray for him, or the two of them playing CSI in episode 8 (shades of Grissom/Sarah? <g>). It was actually the fic 'Someone Serious' that first turned me on to the pairing, but I really think Siroc would be better for her in the long term...D'Artagnan, though adorable in his own way, just strikes me as too immature. I just feel that he likes Jacqueline because she's a challenge (the only girl in Paris NOT falling at his feet), and once that aspect wears off, who's to say he'd still find her interesting? :ducks rotten tomatoes from J/D fans: Though Siroc doesn't seem to show much interest in the ladies (which is one thing I think the series did wrong), he's more mature...someone Jacqueline could have a long-term relationship with. That's just my two cents, though...can't speak for any of the other J/S shippers here.

Ah, but we throw pies around here, not tomatoes! Hmm. Siroc, more mature? Sure, he'll get so wrapped up in his inventions that he'll forget about her. Just making a point. ;D On the other hand, d'Artagnan is fiercely loyal. He's determined not to leave those he cares about, like he blames his father for doing. Really, you never know how it'll go with men. Risky business all the way around.
